Downtown Historic Beardstown has a very unique atmosphere. Currently made up of mostly service-oriented businesses, we are striving to enrich the diversity that most downtowns have. We are looking to provide the citizenry with specialty shops as well as the types of shops we do not have currently. A big and tall man's shop, a stationery/office supply store, a general shoe store, a women's clothing store and a sewing machine store, for starters.
